BARTLESVILLE AREA DIRECTOR
Reports to CEO and supervises one local program staff member in Bartlesville.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma is seeking a relationship-driven, results-oriented leader to serve as our Bartlesville Area Director. This position is the lead fundraiser and community representative for BBBSOK in Bartlesville and is responsible for generating approximately $200,000 in annual local revenue.
The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, connecting people to a mission, and turning those relationships into financial support. This is a hands-on fundraising role. You will cultivate donors, make asks, secure gifts and sponsorships, lead fundraising events, and build new community partnerships.

Duties:
Develop and execute a local fundraising strategy to meet or exceed the annual revenue goal of approximately $200,000.
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, corporate partners, sponsors, and other supporters.
Personally make fundraising asks and build a strong pipeline of prospective donors.
Lead local fundraising events, including Bowl For Kids' Sake and Gala.
Actively recruit adult volunteers (Bigs) through community outreach, presentations, networking, events, and strategic partnerships.
Recruit, engage, and collaborate with the local Resource Board and event committees.
Serve as the face of BBBSOK in Bartlesville, developing relationships with businesses, civic organizations, foundations, and community leaders.
Work with the statewide grant team to support local foundation relationships, proposals, and stewardship.
Maintain accurate donor and fundraising activity in the donor database.
Supervise and support the Bartlesville program staff member and provide basic leadership for the local office.
Use community relationships to support awareness and recruitment of Bigs and Littles.

Demonstrated success in fundraising, sales, business development, or another relationship-driven role with measurable financial goals.
Confidence building relationships, making financial asks, and closing commitments.
Strong networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A self-motivated, results-driven approach with excellent follow-through.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of results.
Experience supervising or leading others preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Reliable transportation and availability for occasional evening and weekend events.

Success in this position will be measured primarily by achievement of fundraising goals, donor growth and retention, development of new funding relationships, successful community partnerships, and strong representation of BBBSOK in Bartlesville.
