OUR PROGRAM
ONE-TO-ONE MENTORING
As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma matches volunteer mentors (Bigs) with children (Littles) who need help with self-esteem, decision-making, and other areas of life.
PROGRAM FORMATS
COMMUNITY PROGRAM
Matches will enjoy activities within the community like going to the park, eating lunch or catching a movie.

• Fill out our volunteer application online
• Complete the interview process and background check
• You need a valid driver's license and up-to-date car insurance (for transport)
• You must be at least 21 years old at the time you are matched
• You must commit to at least one year with your match
• You will meet two to four hours a few times a month (or more!)

We offer our community based program in all six of our markets: Bartlesville, Norman, OKC, Shawnee, Stillwater and Tulsa.
MATCHES AT SCHOOL
You will meet the child at their school to do a variety of on-campus activities.

We offer Matches at School options in Bartlesville, Norman, Stillwater, and Tulsa. Please check with your local office for more details about where this program is offered.
BIG COUPLE PROGRAM
A Big Couple mentors one child together as a team in a community-based match.

THE MARK IOLA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Mark H. Iola is an attorney who set out to create a way for former Littles to continue their education after graduating from high school. His generosity began a legacy that ensures that any Little has the opportunity for college, trade schools or other career training.
