We are seeking a Program Director to join our team in Tulsa to serve our statewide program. We are an award-winning agency constantly looking to serve more children and break new records. We are seeking an individual to help us go to the next level! The successful candidate will have experience in social work or related field, be detail oriented, personable, goal driven and have a passion for improving the lives of children. This person will serve on our state team supporting work in all five offices reporting to our Chief Executive Officer. This is an in-person job without work from home options.

SOME JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Direct supervisor to three staff members and indirect support to all staff working the program.
Using discretion and independent judgment, serve as the go-to resource for management of our one-to-one mentoring program statewide.
Create and implement strategies to improve our statewide program performance metrics like average match length, 12-month match retention, and days from inquiry to match.
Be the expert in BBBSA and BBBSOK program policies.
Monitor and implement grant requirements like specialized surveys, and parent engagement activities.
Implement the use of the Developmental Asset Profile survey into our program to improve matching and to strengthen child outcomes.
Attend the BBBSA national conference each June to learn from peer affiliates and generate new ideas to implement at BBBSOK.
Create and implement new initiatives like Big Futures, or workplace mentoring.
Review unsuccessful matches for lessons learned and training opportunities.
Conduct random satisfaction calls with Bigs, Littles and parents to identify opportunities to strengthen the program.
Listen to match support calls and provide real-time feedback to program specialists helping each one improve their skills.
Monitor the program statewide ensuring all aspects are moving forward.
Strategize with Program Specialists on match and enrollment issues and use critical thinking to solve problems within matches to keep the match positively moving forward.
Onboard and train new Program Specialists constantly improving the process for training new staff. Conduct ongoing training with Program Specialists as needed.
Conduct documentation reviews within the program to find areas of needed improvement. Provide feedback to Program Specialists on work quality.
Become proficient in the BBBSOK program software MatchForce. Create necessary reports to monitor BBBSOK program effectiveness.
Responsible for improving program-related processes.
Assist with recruitment of potential Bigs and Littles, and support agency events like annual galas, Bowl for Kids’ Sake, and special tasks as needed.
Like all positions, the Program Director will complete additional duties for the local and statewide agency as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors’ degree required.
Must use a high level of discretion and independent judgment to perform job duties.
Experience with Sales Force a plus.
Proficiency in multiple technology platforms required for success in the job (Acuity, MatchForce, Microsoft Suite).
Experience with youth development; understanding indicators for potential child maltreatment; working with diverse populations in diverse settings; and/or mentoring relationships.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal relationship skills, commitment to quality customer service and excellent problem-solving skills will be essential.
Ability to maintain privacy and security of confidential information.
